In November of 2025, before there were rings, before there was a collection, there was a decision.
In late 2025, Josh said we should go on a mission to the Cederberg and camp under Wolfberg Arch. We made a group of 6 individuals, who had hardly ever met each other.
We all said yes.
Noah, Josh, Benji, Makai, other Josh, and Harry.

The hike to the arch was harder than we thought it would be.
We all packed way too much, and our packs felt heavy in the harsh mid-day sun. After a fairly grueling 1.5h ascent up the side of the face, we made it to the feet of the infamous Wolfberg Cracks.
One by one we made our way through the narrow cracks, in awe at what we were all experiencing together. This moment brought 6 strangers into an immediate bond, one that would eventually become the backbone to the brand, Always Lucky.
Always Lucky is never about ease. It was about choosing the harder road. It's about choosing the experience. The road less traveled is always going to lead to a better experience. It was about refusing to be owned by our own comforts.

After some time, we made it out through the cracks and onto the plateau. When the Arch finally revealed itself, it felt earned. Massive and quiet against the sky, carved over time by forces that never rushed. We dropped our bags and took her in.

As the light faded, something shifted.
We cooked badly. We laughed way too loudly. We spoke about things that don’t usually get airtime. Our fears, ambitions, the lives we actually wanted to build. Underneath that arch, with the stars burning above us, the conversation moved from what we were doing to who we were becoming.
There’s a certain honesty that the wilderness demands. There are no distractions. It's just you, your friends, and the ambitions for yourself in your own head.
Luck isn’t handed to you. It’s found between relentless effort and unwavering self-belief.
This Cedarberg mission was proof of that.
We could have stayed at home. We could have chosen the easier route. But we all said yes to the hike, to the discomfort, to the unknown. And in doing that, something clicked in between us. A deeper bond. A shared understanding that the life you want doesn’t just arrive; you have to build it.

Always Lucky didn’t start with a product. It started with a group of individuals who barely knew each other making that one decision.
Choosing to say yes over the routine of comfort. Experience over excuses.
Under the Wolfberg Arch, six friends became something tighter. A crew built on movement, belief, and the refusal to settle for default settings.
This was the beginning.
Live to be free.
Much love,
The Always Lucky Family!
